Though Rush's self-titled release became Canada's best selling debut album, it wasn't until their 1976 fourth album, 2112, that they truly found widespread success. Their first international single was "Closer to the Heart" off their 1977 release A Farewell to Kings. The band has had their current lineup since their second album, Fly by Night, was released in 1975. Rush had a tradition of releasing albums. Between 1974 and 1984, they released an album every year (except for 1979 and 1983), and then between 1985 and 1993, they released an album every two years.
