Edgar Holland Winter is an American musician multi-instrumentalist, performing on the keyboards, and as a vocalist, saxophonist and percussionist, well-versed in jazz, blues and rock. He was most successful in the 1970s with his band, The Edgar Winter Group. They Only Come Out at Night is the fourth studio album by the The Edgar Winter Group. It went to No. 3 on the Billboard Pop Albums chart, eventually sold two million copies, and features two of the band's biggest hits, "Frankenstein" (#1 Pop Singles) and "Free Ride" (#14 Pop Singles). In 2005, the album was reissued on SACD by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab.
